Seasons restaurant is a lovely room, excellent variety of choices, and great service.
The guest room decor is dated, needs renovation (crack in sink, mattress not very comfortable, and older period furniture).

Out a bit from Hartford but a pleasant escape and the restaurant makes the place a good choice.

The windows do not have blackout shades/curtains and it gets bright as soon as the sun comes up.

Nothing.
It seemed like a motel, the room door was directly to the street.

Bed was more comfortable than many. Nice sized room, pretty location and nice restaurant.

Nice restaurants and convenient to other restaurants and shopping.

Pleasant atmosphere, clean, nicely laid out.
Internet connection was inconsistent. Room accommodations were not ready (TV had to be connected).

The personnel at night, when I arrived, were very accommodating and solved all the problems. I do think though, that things should be completely ready to go in a hotel on this level. I liked the general environment and the convenient parking close to the rooms and office. The wireless internet connection being sporadic and mostly non-operative was an inconvenience. I would have preferred a reliable hard cable connection. ...read more

Location, room was awesome, and hotel staff was awesome.
Needs fridge in room; more accessible breakfasts, accommodations - like not against wall - hard to get to.

Loved it. Charming. Just needs fridge in room.

Main building and rooms in that building were nice.
Adjacent building and rooms in that building were not nice.

This hotel has two buildings. One, where I was given a room, was a 2 star quality equivalent to a motor lodge. The second building is probably more like the 3 star that has been given to this hotel.

Rooms in the annex area of hotel where we were given rooms were small and cramped, one room did not have an air conditioner that worked well and the shower handle was broken. Hotel staff were not overly friendly or helpful. Restaurant was nice and waitress who served our table was very pleasant. ...read more
